Kristoffersen vant sitt syvende verdenscuprenn i storslalåm i slovenske Kranjska Gora søndag, og går dermed forbi Kjetil André Aamodt som den mestvinnende norske storslalåmkjøreren i verdenscupen.
Rælingen-løperen kjørte raskest av alle i annenomgangen og kjørte inn til ny ledelse da det sto igjen to mann på toppen.
Tyske Alexander Schmid taklet ikke presset og la seg inn på 4.-plass, før sesongens desidert beste alpinist, sveitsiske Marco Odermatt, satte utfor.
Odermatt kjørte jevnt med Kristoffersen på toppen, men med en svak avslutning holdt det kun til 3.-plass.
Kristoffersen vant dermed med 23 hundredeler ned til østerrikske Stefan Brennsteiner. Rælingen-gutten går opp på 28 verdenscupseiere, og er bare åtte seiere bak Aksel Lund Svindal, som er den nordmannen som har flest verdenscupseiere i alpint.
Kristoffersen suste ned fra startnummer syv, til nest beste tid, tre tiendedeler bak sveitsiske Marco Odermatt i førsteomgangen.
På startnummeret etter kom tyske Alexander Schmid og la seg mellom sveitseren og nordmannen.
Kristoffersen hadde dermed gitt seg selv et meget godt utgangspunkt til å vinne sitt andre renn på to dager, etter han vant lørdagens storslalåmrenn i den samme bakken.
– Må bare kjøre fort på ski, så går det bra. Det er bare å gi full gass – gi alt en har og klemme ut det siste av sitronen, sa Kristoffersen til Viaplay før finaleomgangen.
Lucas Braathen, som kom på annenplass under lørdagens renn, leverte også en meget solid omgang frem til den siste hengkanten, hvor det røynet på for han. Hokksund-gutten lå på 7.-plass 0,73 bak Odermatt etter førsteomgangen.
Unggutten var enda raskere i annenomgang da han kom inn til ny ledelse med 28 hundredeler og ny beste omgangstid, som senere ble slått av Kristoffersen. Braathen klatret tre plasser og endte på 4.-plass.
Rasmus Windingstad og Atle Lie McGrath fikk det ikke helt til å klaffe fra startnummer 19 og 20 i førsteomgangen, og kom i mål henholdsvis 1,76 og 1,13 bak sveitseren som ledet.
I annenomgang klaffet det langt bedre for de begge, da de på rekke og rad tok over ledelsen med god margin. McGrath klatret seks plasser på resultatlisten og endte på 8.-plass. Windingstad på 13.-plass.
McGrath tok sin første verdenscupseier onsdag, da han vant slalåmrennet i østerrikske Flachau.
Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen fikk det hakket tyngre enn sine lagkamerater og kjørte i mål hele 2,20 bak Odermatt. Han lå 23.-plass før finaleomgangen, hvor han gjorde en stor feil på toppen, men med en god avslutning kjørte han inn til ny ledelse.
Den holdt ikke lengre enn at britiske Charlie Raposo, på startnummeret etter, tok over ledelsen med 17 hundredeler på Haugen, som endte til slutt på 18.-plass.
Fabian Wilkens Solheim og Timon Haugan kjørte ut i førsteomgang.
Odermatt har allerede vunnet storslalåmcupen sammenlagt, og han leder klart i verdenscupen totalt med bare de fire finalerennene i Frankrike igjen.
